5th Asia-Pacific Forum on Renewable Energy

As we live in the times when energy is becoming more important, we need to interact with others to find clever ways of providing cleaner energy at an affordable price. Previous Asia-Pacific Forums on Renewable Energy (AFORE) had provided a platform for that interaction among people working in all areas of renewable energy.

This year we go back to beautiful Jeju Island in Korea where the inaugural AFORE was held. We chose Jeju not only because it was recently selected to be one of new seven wonders of nature in the world but also for its journey to carbon-free island by utilizing only renewable energy sources. Therefore Jeju is the perfect place for the Forum where all the Renewable Energy interactions to take place. We are preparing to make this event more fruitful by providing a big arena for showcasing research results on renewable energy as well as energy policy, education, technology transfer and the business. Moreover, we want you to have some experiences to observe efforts of Jeju Island in diffusing Renewable Energy technologies.

On behalf of the organizing committee, I cordially invite you to AFORE 2015 to be held during November 4th to 7th, 2015. AFORE 2015 is jointly organized by Korean Society for New and Renewable Energy (KSNRE). The Forum is attracting more and more participants from the Asia-Pacific region with 660 people in 2014.

Please come and enjoy sharing, learning and interacting during plenary talks, keynote speeches, oral sessions, posters, special sessions, dinners and the renewable energy site tour. We hope you to bring back home lots of new knowledge and good memories from Jeju.
